Jiayu Su is a photographer based in Canada.
In the senior year of high school, Jiayu was a student journalist who represented a local radio station to visit a small valley in Southern China. He had never been interested in photography until he took a picture of a little girl who was looking at him with bright and shining eyes. That photograph touched him profoundly. Jiayu found out how the magical power of a photograph can change people’s minds and perspectives. It was a magic moment which also changed his life. He then started to devote himself to capturing every beautiful moment in his life.
Jiayu has over eight years of experience in commercial photography. He is freelancing in wedding and portrait photography, event photography, and real estate photography. Currently, he is a freelance photographer located in Ottawa, ON. Besides all the commercial aspects, he enjoys capturing nature and landscapes.
His photos have been showcased on Welcome PEI, Tourism PEI, CBC PEI and different social media platforms from around the world.
